MASAL

Masal located in plain area is50 km far from the northwest of rasht and 20 km far from the west of fooman and somieh sara. Situated near the talesh mountains and the Caspian sea, masal enjoys a mild and humid climate.


Masal was a district of the vast talesh in the past which the center of the masal township in 1997. it is composed of two districts of central and shanderman.


From the geographical point of view, masal is composed of three plain, foothill and mountainous areas. Its main highlands are torshoom, shah moalem, and risband and its major rivers are Arasnik, dar-an-bar, and mileh sara.

 

 

 

 

 

HISTORICAL & TOURIST ATTRACTIONS:


Takooh & Ari dol jungle regions-Asbe riseh historical region with high cliffs and caves-rizemandan jungle park-the countryside of shaalma,chesly, bilgah doon, espidasht, sang bast, virgah, alanzeh dasht, khandile pesht, marjoneh, reshteposht, vashne Rah, vashiar, olse belangah, sifi, nam nameh posht, khoshke darya, talargah, and malomeh band- avisho cave- khandeh pash cave – the ancient region of dar khane, gileh sara, vardam, and the memorial region of mashhad mirza (the place of mirza koochak khan jangali’s martyrdom).

Sabze Qaba holy shirne, grandchild of iman mosa ebne jafar (A.S)-and immamzadeh mirza shrine, grandchild of imam mosa kazem (A.S)- holy shrines of pir jelodar and aqa mir sarayeh fooman-oun ebne ali shrine son of mohammad hanifeh (son of imam Ali (A.S.)
